I first spotted Rodolphe Simeon on Flickr, I was totally blown away by his theatrical images he made. If you work with very heavy themes you must me very careful and think about the balance, often its to much, to kitsch. Rodolphe is a master in keeping this balance just perfect. He works with outstanding models, sometime people from the street often friends. His eye for detail and semiotics is rare, I applaud him for being a big influence in my way of photographing.
